Minoue is me, Mariève Inoue. I’ve been writing for the web for over a decade, and used to be Editor in Chief of divine.ca, a bilingual online magazine geared towards Canadian women. Now, I have started writing for print magazines, and I also do copywriting and translation at my company MINOUE media, supervised by my lovely kitty, Chababa. byMinoue is my personal side project, a space for me to share my favourite (mostly) beauty finds. Hopefully you’ll enjoy what you see.
Some random facts about me:
- I’m half-Japanese and half-French Canadian.
- I love languages; I grew up speaking both English and French, and learned Japanese to fluent proficiency in university. I’ve also studied German, Mandarin and Italian and would like to learn more languages.
- I live in Montreal, Canada. It’s a beautiful city, but it gets really cold in the winter.
- I love Japan, and try to go there every year. I’ve been starting to diversify my destinations, though.
