By now, you’ve probably seen this product dozens of times on your Instagram feed. You’ve maybe even tried it yourself. But I love it so much that I just couldn’t help illustrating and reviewing it myself!
I have a deep, deep love for moisturizing toners, and the LANEIGE Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer (called “Cream Skin Refiner” in Korea) is about as moisturizing as toners get. It is supposed to have the moisturizing benefits of an actual cream, and it quenches my skin the instant I apply it. Because it’s a hybrid product, I figured the texture would be halfway between a toner and a moisturizing cream, but in reality, it was much more fluid than I expected—a wonderfully milky elixir. The main claim is that it strengthens your skin barrier, moisturizes, and soothes thanks to white leaf tea water; I find it’s done all three consistently since I started using it right before the holidays. It’s supposed to be a one-step product, but I just continue my regular routine after applying it and enjoy the extra moisture it provides my face and neck. I only have about 1/3 of my 150 ml bottle left, and I’m so sad!
