Nighttime Lip Care: Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask in Lavender

As you may (or may not) know, I’m a huge fan of Bite Beauty, a fairly recent discovery for me. I have more than one Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick on rotation in my stash, and use the Agave Lip Balm pretty much every day. The one product I was dying to try was the Agave Lip Mask; so I was beyond ecstatic when a sample of the new lavender version showed up last Friday.

I love lavender, so my initial reaction was to be excited about the lip mask, which is infused with lavender essential oil. I will admit, however, that upon second thought I was a bit worried that the scent would be overpowering. Its texture is quite thick, but still easy to apply. It hugs your lips more than some other lip masks I’ve tried. As for the scent, it’s nowhere near as powerful as I thought it would be—which is a good thing, as I find it to be just noticeable enough to be pleasant. I apply it overnight, and really love how soft my lips feel the next morning… which is saying a lot considering how chapped my lips are, especially in winter.

My verdict: I love everything about it! Now, I can go to bed with my lavender face pack, lip mask, bed spray, and heating eye mask. Not to forget my essential oil diffuser on my night table!

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask – Lavender, $30 at sephora.com starting January 30, and in store on February 8 in Canada only! ??
