I was waiting to post about this collection because it’s a fall one, but since the weather here in Montreal feels more like fall anyway, and the products are already out… well, here you go!
Do you know Lise Watier cosmetics? The brand is from right here in Québec and has been a main player in the cosmetics industry for almost 50 years. For their fall line, they’ve teamed up with magazines ELLE Québec and ELLE Canada to create the Weekender collection.
This type of collab between a magazine and a cosmetics line is a first, and I think it’s such a cool initiative, and must have been so much fun to be a part of!
The theme of the collection is slowing down and indulging in life’s simple pleasures: having a nice cup of coffee in a cute café, or slipping into some comfy clothes and curling up with a good book—the ideal weekend, really.
I haven’t tried everything out properly yet, but here are some swatches I did of the Weekender Palette, Waterproof Eyeliner, and Rouge Gourmand lipstick. There is also a burgundy mascara (not featured here) which looks like it’s to die for. Oh, how I love fall fashion and makeup!
