Essence Matt Matt Matt Lipglosses only come out this fall, but I’ve been wearing them nonstop for a few weeks already, so I was excited to post about them. (I just realized, however, that this is my second lipstick-related post in a row. Oops.)
My lips are naturally super dry, which makes it challenging for me to find a matt lipstick that works for me. I was promised that this mousse formula would be super hydrating, so I gave it a go… and I was pleasantly surprised! The lipglosses are highly-pigmented, don’t get blotchy, stay on for a good while, and come off gradually and evenly after a few hours of wear. Other liquid matte lipsticks (which shall remain unnamed) tend to leave me looking like I’m only wearing lipliner a few hours in.
The only thing I don’t like about these? Their scent, which is a little too sweet to my liking. But the fact that I continue to wear them regardless says a lot about them. Oh, and they’re only $5 a pop! These will be available at Loblaws.
