Bubble Tea… for your Face?

Once again, Etude House got me with their über cute packaging! Here are my thoughts about the Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack (Green Tea).

A few nights a week, I like to switch out my usual night cream or moisturizer for a night mask. I started incorporating this one into my routine a couple months ago, and have been enjoying how my skin feels in the morning after using it. Of course, the little bubble tea cup and spoon are super cute, but I wouldn’t have continued using the product if I didn’t like it!

At first, I thought the bubble tea idea was just a marketing concept, but after reading the instructions, I realized that the spoon is there to help you scoop out the moisture capsules (the “bubbles”) at the bottom of the jar. You take one or two, put them in the palm of your hand, and squish them into some of the green gel to mix everything together, before applying it to your face.

It does go on pretty sticky, but absorbs fairly quickly into the skin. By the time I finish applying my eye cream (which is usually my last step in my nighttime routine), it’s safe to put my face on my pillow. I personally like the feeling of a thick gel on my face: I find it comforting and feel like it’s nourishing my skin—but it might not be for everyone.

Overall, I really like this sleeping mask. It helps make my skin feels nice and moisturized when I wake up the next morning, and it’s very inexpensive. I’m even considering buying the Black Tea (for a glowing, plumping effect) and Strawberry (for healthy, dewy skin) in the future!
